Pre-orders of LIBERATOR #2 NEEDED!

PRINT AND BRING TO YOUR LOCAL COMIC SHOP

PRINT AND BRING TO YOUR LOCAL COMIC SHOP

Hey guys, I won’t bore you with all the details but, in a nutshell, how things work with comic distribution is this:  If there aren’t enough advance orders then the distributor will stop carrying a book.  If the distributor stops carrying a book then that book is fucked

We don’t want this to happen with Liberator.  We NEED you to pre-order, either online or in-store.  In-store pre-orders are extra great because when you ask for a book in advance your shop owner will go “Huh, why are they asking for that book?  Maybe it’s something I should buy for the shelf, too!” and that is so vital.

If you wait for the book to show up on your comic shop’s shelves and figure it’s just going to be available wherever comics are sold you’re dead wrong.  LIBERATOR isn’t BATMAN or SPIDER-MAN with huge name recognition, it isn’t something that every shop is going to order on their own – shops need to know about the book and need to know you want the book or they WILL NOT ORDER IT.

REMEMBER that all my share of profits from Liberator are going in to our pit bull rescue work, so you can feel good knowing that buying the book is also directly helping animals.

Please hit up any of the following links to pre-order online, or print the image above and bring it to your comic shop.

Matt Miner and Sean Von Gorman at MoCCAfest 2013

Well, MoCCAfest 2013 is over and it was great – thanks everyone who stopped by and chatted or picked up the exclusive #0 preview issue!  Super cool seeing friends and even meeting a couple awesome Kickstarter backers in person!

I’ve got some copies left over so those will be available to buy on this site soon.

My question is:  Did you grab a copy of Liberator #0 at the show, or did you read the 6-page preview available online at Bleeding Cool (here: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2012/12/25/welcome-the-liberator/) ?  Do you have any questions or comments and want to appear in Liberator #1′s letters page?

Shoot any correspondence you have over to liberatorletters@gmail.com, mark it “OK TO PRINT” and your letter might appear in the first issue!

Also, check out some art from issue #2 by the super talented team of Javier Sanchez Aranda and Joaquin Pereyra over on The Beat!  :  http://comicsbeat.com/exclusive-sneak-peek-liberator/

HOPEFULLY SEE YOU THERE – Matt

Hey guys, guess what?  You can now pre-order Liberator #1!

Q:  Why would you pre-order instead of just waiting for it to be in stores?

A:  Because if there aren’t enough advance orders from comic shops then Diamond (the comic distributor) might cancel distribution of the series.

HOW TO PRE-ORDER:

1. If you’re someone who goes to a comic store for your comics then please print this certificate and bring it to your shop to make it easy for them to order the book for you.  Ask them to buy a couple for the store shelves too!

2. If you’re not a regular comic reader but you’re excited about Liberator and want to get a copy without having to figure out where a comic store is, or if you prefer to mailorder your comics, you can pre-order by mail from Midtown Comics!

Click this link to order from Midtown Comics! – it’s incredibly easy and they ship WORLDWIDE!: http://bit.ly/11ouYVG

Thanks everyone, can’t wait for you to see this book!  We’ve got a great series in store for you!
